Just dropped the second run of the “Demo” from POCKET BIKE RACERS, artwork has changed slightly (it’s negative), otherwise it’s the same two kick-ass, garage punk bangers, with a slight rockabilly accent. Limited to 25 on clear shells and a black case. Pretty sure this is the final pressing. Immediately after, it’s run number two of the latest four song EP from Nashville based, SCREEN STAR! This fucker sold fast and it’s totally understandable, it’s quick, upbeat, hook heavy garage punk and it’s catchy as hell. Limited to 25 copies on solid blue shells with a pink cover and sticker, all killer, no filler. Later this week it’ll be the first U.S. release of “III” from FASHION BATHERS, originally released in the early days of 2020, it’s nine, wild-as-hell, zoinked out, synth heavy lo-fi as fuck, garage punk ragers. It absolutely rules and we’re stoked to present a physical version of such a killer release. Out November 20th is the debut EP from Montreal based SHAPES, it’s some kinda dark, angular post punk shit with a penchant for the new wave. All set to gravely vocals, a synth that won’t quit and rumbling bass lines. It’s limited to just 25 on black shells in the U.S. also out in Canada on a limited run. After that? How about another DRU THE DRIFTER two-fer? Whaddya think, down for that? We’ve got “Bank Robber” on one side and “The Tipper” on the other. Mid-tempo garage punk with an unspoken AC/DC obsession, limited to 25, out before the end of the month. BUG SWALLOW & PROBLEM GREEN maybe out before the end of the year? Early next year? I’ll let ya know when I know. Got a couple of dope ass projects on the books for 2026, I’m absurdly excited about both but I can’t spill the beans quite yet.
TENNESSEE COLD CUTS just put out a compilation, “Slice Of Death”, it’s a collaborative affair with Nashville record store, DEAD END and features previously unreleased tracks from fourteen outfits throughout the state. From garage to punk to emo and grind and metal and the outright weird, it’s all here and somehow it kinda works. Limited to fifty, 25 on purple and 25 on rhodamine red. We’re putting out the first two EPs from THE OI!TAKUS in the very near future, upbeat, catchy pogo punk another dope addition to the roster. TCC is also now open for custom cassette jobs, details and such will be available on the TCC link soon. If you need a run of tapes like right the fuck now, hit me up at tennesseecoldcuts@gmail.com and I’ll see if I can get it done for you.
Our in house rap/hip-hop label, EYE KNOW, just put out it’s second release, it’s four party starters from the underground Pacific Northwest d.i.y. rap scene and it’s killer, WALTER AND NOVO just carve ‘em up. The kind of release that’s easy to revert to, just because; it’s solid, those beats are fat and make heads bob and the lyrics are delivered with an undeniable swagger, 25 on pink shells.
I’ll be out of the country from the 14th of November until the 29th, if you place an order during that time, you’ll, uh… have to wait a bit. If your order the SHAPES tape before I take off (the pre-order will be available soon), I’ll get it sent out before I leave and get a Bandcamp code off to you when I get back. Got some records, tapes & CDs up on Discogs now, a makeshift record store I ‘spose, might lean into that a little more? I don’t know.
