Released about six weeks ago, back in the middle of September the debut EP from Providence, Rhode Islands NAME NAMES is an absolute banger from one through five. It's blown out, kinda jangly poppy punk buried in a lo-fi haze. Every song is catchy as fuck, the hooks are huge, the swells hit at just the right time and the rhythm section rumbles along, holding it all together. The individual components of NAME NAMES are so unbelievably complimentary of one another it makes this EP feel effortless, like everything is in it's right place. The more likely reason this all comes off so naturally is probably the fact that four talented musicians got together and had a good time doing it. The results just happen to reflect the process. Available in a physical format for the first time and limited to 25 copies on rhodamine red shells
