It’s quick, no bullshit and to the point, the vocals are a grumbled bark, it’s catchy and the band loves to play up the minimalism. Which only leads to highlighting each instrument, every contribution, when the guitar drops out of the bottom it highlights the rhythm section, sure, but it also starkly points out how much weight those three chords carry. It’s a pretty impressive six track EP from this three-piece, one of those releases that has an undeniably energy about it. I’m in, I’m sold, let’s-fucking-go.
